The book has some good recipes. Many that you'll recoginize from the restaurant.

We bought it in search of the secret to the meat sauce Buca di Beppo serves over their ravioli and other pastas. Sadly, the meat sauce in the book isn't close. It's good, just not at all what they serve in the restaurant. The sauce recipe for their meatballs is closer, if you add ground beef, but we are still in search of that recipe for Buca meat sauce.

This recipe book is awesome..Recipes just like Gram use to make. Only sorry that this restaurant, for some reason, didn't make it in Buffalo.. Don't really know why , it was always jam packed everytime we were there..We always brought out of town guests there for dinner. The recipes in this book are exactly how I remember the menu... This was a good find in Amazon. Will keep this book for a long time..

For anyone who enjoys a night out at Buca di Beppo, this book is a must. My only regret was that it didn't have their recipe for their proshuito stuffed chicken in their creamy pesto sauce, but I guess one can't have everything! Excellent recipes from the makers of excellent food! A must for those who love Italian cooking at its best!
