The reading of this book was an eye-opener, and I originally read this to gain insight into the offenders I deal with, but after I began to read, my heart broke as I discovered what this woman had to suffer at the hands of her father. This is an incredible journey, and it is not recommended for the weak of heart or those who already have an axe to grind or people to punish. This reading requires compassion, empathy, and understanding, with the hope that its impact will help others to heal or work through the trauma it represents. Highly recommended!!
