For years the Betta Conservation Land has beckoned Jena to explore it's forbidden lands. When the gates finally swing open, the untold mysteries that left lingering memories bind together leaving a trail to steer Jena to where fantasy and mystery collides with reality.
In an abandoned ballroom, Jena shifts into the mind of May, and Jena experiences all of May's senses. An optimist, the oddity of the experience doesn't phase Jena but when she returns home something in her has changed. Her best friend Katri, a psychiatrist, and one who recognized in Jena the characteristics of patients who've gone mad while speaking of memories, notices the change. Katri not only knows what harm that can befall Jena if she doesn't ride out the memory, Katri knows what was reported to have happened to May, and encourages Jena to return.
The truth demands to be known before the ballroom, and its memories, are destroyed. As time dwindles, an overwhelming sense of urgency nearly incapacitates Jena, but her fierce determination and upbeat attitude see her through some disturbing experiences that push her to the brink of death.
