ESP, UFOs and Reno, Nevada,

From what I recall of this story, it is about ESP and two young adults, a boy and a girl in school who can read each other's minds and find that they are having the same dreams. The dreams lead them to the Stardust motel in the middle of the desert, to a woman named Diane Jaleela, and a small child who has called to them for help through his powers of ESP. Sleator as always, does a great job of capturing the sense of mystery and suspense around science fiction topics.
