"Intrepid Way" works!, April 16, 2005
This review is from: The Intrepid Way: How to Create the Freedom You Need to Live the Life You Want! (Paperback)
Intrepid is a book that deliver results.
I read "The Intrepid Way" a year ago. After reading the book, I was very much inspired by Matthew's courage in his journey toward personal freedom; hence, I made a committment to take "leap of faith" and go for it.
Today, I am have acheived the freedom at age 34. I now have the freedom to spent more time with my family and work on interesting personal projects that I never had time to do before.
There are many "street smart" concepts that Matthew shares in the book. My favorite ones are,
1) Expense and Income Layer - this is one step beyond what Robert Kiyosaki teaches in Rich Dad, Poor Dad. By truely understand the Expense and Income Layer, it made me realize that I don't have to be millionaire in order to retire young.
2) Leap of Faith - when things get tough, I continue to remind myself that I need to "take action" and have the "leap of faith" that things will work out.
3) Drafting Partners - I have leveraged through my mentor, my business partners and creating win-win to reduce the amount of time it takes to build up the needed knowledge and newtork.
There are many more "street smart" concepts in the book. Yet, Matthew also had the formal MBA training; hence give him the gift to expalin his concept in an easy to understand fasion.
I am highly recommend "The Intrepid Way" to anyone who want to walk awy from the corporate job and find better way to live out the life! Life will never be the same again.
Keep the Passion Alive,

Another pivotal mindset book!!, August 31, 2004
This review is from: The Intrepid Way: How to Create the Freedom You Need to Live the Life You Want! (Paperback)
I have spent many years and $$$ on personal education about investing, property & business building.
For me, Matthew's concept of Money Layers (expense and income layering) was worth the price of the book. Everything else was a bonus.
I rate the Money laying concept right up there with the Poor, Middleclass & Rich spending habits diagram from Rich Dad Poor Dad
for insite provoking and thought changing.
If passive income is something that calls to you, I suggest you should pay close attention to this concept.

field report, February 27, 2006
This review is from: The Intrepid Way: How to Create the Freedom You Need to Live the Life You Want! (Paperback)
The Book is the story of the author making it to the other sides of the "cashflow-quadrant" (R. Kiyosaki) from employed to self-employed to finally investor and business owner. Unlike Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" it's not written from the distance of a succesful retiree, but from a still young entrepreneur who did not longer want to waste his most productive times and energy on someone else's business. Especially of interest: how he creates good-will to start long-term business-relationships, how to build multiple income-streams, thougths on the value of time and time-freedom.
