Product Description

L'Intrepide was designed for the 1991 Mini Transat Trans-Atlantic single handed race by Gilles Breteche. The NKOK 24.5" L' Intrepide RC Sailing Boat is a faithfully detailed 1:25 scale model of the real L'Intrepide and measures 43 inches from the top of the mast to the bottom of the keel and 22 inches from bow to stern. The rudder is controlled by 27MHz radio control from a remote controller which set the rudder position to port, starboard or centre. There is a dry-dock stand for display of the boat when not in use. The hull is completely finished and some assembly of sails and rigging is required. It requires (3) "AA" batteries and (1) 9v battery for transmitter. It's makes a perfect collector's item.
