Nice Introduction to Rock Guitar Playing, February 23, 2000
This review is from: Intro to Rock Guitar: Volume 1 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is a basic introduction to playing an electric guitar. The beginning is very basic with a description of the guitar parts and the names of the strings etc. Then it moves on to show you how to set your amp up to get the overdriven "Rock Sound", and how to tune the guitar. In the last part of the tape Scott Graves demonstrates some exercises to get you use to moving up and down the fretboard. If you haven't had any lessons yet, this video might be beneficial. If you have already had a couple of lessons, you might want to skip this tape and get the second in the series. Scott Graves also mentions a workbook in the video, but it does not come with the video and has to be order separately.
