Seriously, I was not looking forward to stats because it's so hard to wrap your head around, and so dry. But this book explains very clearly, with plenty of examples, photos, colours, and organization. Plus a few jokes here and there keep you entertained! If I had to learn stats, I wouldn't want to do it with any other book!

The book is more like a novel than a textbook. You go in looking for an explanation of something as simple as a T-test and you just get a bunch of snarky footnotes and odd stories. At one point the book even tells you that a formula is awful (Baye's Theorem) and you should just ignore it. I could go on but it's really not that good.

Rented it and surprised it actually came with the CD because that's not always the case. Each chapter explains material well with many examples.

This book actually made this subject fairly understandable. I had just passed calculus 3 and was not wanting to take another math class for a bit, but had to. Thankfully this book gave real insight and relative material that today's generation can relate with.
