The book is very basic in the information it provides. Guess it would be good if one had absolutely no experience with Land Desktop or previous versions of Civil 3D.

good book/cad resource.

little dry/sluggish at times, but that's to be expected. wish it had more details on how to actually get to certain menus, etc. and what obstacles are faced when doing this in the real world.
