Ham Sandwhiches & Pineapple Strudle,

I first heard Foxy Shazam on MySpace and then soon bought their Flamingo Trigger album. It was so unique to me at that time. So RAW, so hyper and melodic and insane and yet wise. Of course, no bands are purely their own. Regardless of what other bands sound similar to Foxy Shazam, Foxy Shazam does it better. Does it louder, does it more peaceful.
Piano Driven, Scream Driven, just wow. I wish I could explain it.

If you haven't already bought this one, do it now! Better yet, see them live - Eric's stage theatrics are as true as they come!

Introducing... Foxy Shazam... The Sophmore CD.,
This review is from: Introducing (Audio CD)
Every CD Foxy put's out is a different genra.
And I must say. I pre-ordered this CD assuming it would be as heavy as their debut album "The Flamingo Trigger". It was not. This album branches out toward a more indie rock/alternative/soul style. Still keeping it real with passionately delivered vocals and semi-deep lyrical value, and more than a tad bit of hilarity (As per usual). The band cuts out most of their traditional harsh (screaming) vocals. Only touching on the harshness on "Ghost Animals" and small screams every now and then on "It's Hair Smelled Like Bonfire", "Red Cape Diver" and a few others. The rest is very much a sign that they are branching out in their creativity. Good songs are: "Yes, Yes, Yes", "Red Cape Diver" and "Introducing Foxy" For fans of "You, Me and Everyone We Know", "Eroupe", "Yves Klein Blue" and the movie "Hot Rod"
