I bought this for an online class. I have taken other online classes and found the books hard to follow when studying on my own. This book, though,was not hard to follow. The diagrams in the book are the most valuable because they give a good visual image that makes the information easier to remember. I took this 4 hour course in 4 weeks and with a different book, I would have had trouble.

This paperback edition is just as good as the hardcover edition as far as I know. There's also a less-known edition called the flex format edition that's supposedly identical but fits in a 3-ring binder. The ISBN for that one is 978-0471752523 and they look to be even cheaper than this one ($40).

hardly use the book but it has everything in it that i needed for my class.

I have not recieved my book and I have sent several emails to the company and they will not respond back. They have already charged my account and I can not get any one to talk to me. I highly suggest you not purchase anything from the Literate Muse they will cheat you. I am digusted with this service!
