The finest debut recording by a violinist I have heard in many years. The musical maturity displayed by Shannon Lee is completely amazing. I will be on the look out for any future recordings she does.

Get this CD: you won't be disappointed. Brilliant and musical playing by the very young Miss Lee.

Shannon Lee is really amazing. I have seen this girl on TV and concert in Fresno. This CD has some really enjoyable violin pieces which was performed excellently. Whenever I feel like listening to violin, I listen to this CD. Even though it is a bit expensive, it was worth it!

On January 9th, 2009, Shannon came to my high school, Plano East Senior High, which she would be attending if she was not in a private school. She played a few pieces including the Sibelius Violin concerto, it blew my mind. I've heard Joshua Bell play the concerto live and I must say, Shannon Lee's tonal qualities were more appealing to me. Shannon shows much talent on this great CD, which I highly recommend. Although I must say that the CD does not capture her beautiful tone as well as a live performence, then again, thats usually the case. I am highly bummed out that she goes to a private school instead of mine, because my orchestra just got labled as the State Honor Orchestra of Texas. It's the 5th time in 7 years that we've been labled this honor. I'm sure that Shannon will take front stage when she creates her next CD with the sibelius concerto on it.

Having viewed Shannon Lee playing the violin on Youtube I wanted to hear more. The CD has not disappointed. Her virtuoso skills are a joy to hear, I keep the CD in the car and enjoy it while travelling - it eases the longest journey! Buy it!!

I love the violin but listening to this CD was very depressing. I bought thought it was going to be like the group BOND which is my favorite group and was very exited to listen to this CD, however I was very disappointed in listening to old classic music which was not music to my ears whatsoever. This CD is simply sad and depressing and no fun or enjoyment. Why not make the music more modern where people will be happy and not so depressed. This girl seems young enough...why not be the next BOND or even Vanessa Mae (even she is less depressing). I don't recommend this to anyone if you want to be happy get BOND!! The best violinists ever!!!!
