I adopted Introduction to the Bible as my textbook for a 100-level Bible survey course at a four-year liberal arts college, and I have been sorely disappointed. While the content is generally sound and the approach and coverage suitable for the course, the price is absurdly high for what you get (even with Amazon's generous discount). There are no additional resources for instructors, and the book's design is aesthetically uninviting, which makes it all the more difficult to get students to do the reading.

If you want a good beggining to the historical bible, this will not lead you astray. Full of useful information and unbiased in it's approach, by far the best book of it's kind that I have come across.

Happy customer, shipped promptly and in good condition. Will buy again for sure. This book is almost new, as are other books I have previously purchased.

I only use it once a month and the cover is already falling off... and all it does is sit on a shelf

Although I was please with the purchase and price, I was a little diappointed in the conduct of the book. I knew it won't be in mint condition but it was in somewhat worst condition that I expected.
