Disappointing,

If I interpret the copy I received correctly, this is just a reprint from the 70's with a nice new cover. The author even listed in the introduction a number of changes they COULD HAVE made to improve the book? (Why not make them?) Just paging through the book, it does not appear it is going to be that helpful. However, it appears to be the least expensive. I would recommend putting your money toward a biostat book like Pagano's. I used that text in my MPH program and felt it was fairly easy to read and use.
