Book Description

March 3, 2005
This new synergy brings readers a fresh prospective on improving their lives, and with renovations well on its way, 'An Introduction To Bloomberg City' is a new prelude to what was designated to be New York City. Tragedy has force people to think differently or reshape their lives to get through some rather difficult times. Considering the fact, businesses and working class people alike is currently struggling to maintain a decent living. Several people have concluded that it was time to leave, in order to find better. Others have decided to stay and found new ways of coping. All in hopes of the economy making a speedy recovery. At any rate, this will not solve the longstanding issues. Which means, people aren't prepared for life's shocking turn of events. The ultimate goal of this book is to give a reality check to people, who know very little to nothing about city life. People seem to have this misconception that NYC is where you can make it all happen, but aren't aware of the hidden dangers their trading, to go live in the city. Other books make small references on city life or carry you on this theatrical journey. This book promises not to do that to you.

About the Author

Brad has called New York City home for last eighteen years, but was born and raised in Jamaica, West Indies. It was his parent's choice to send him aboard, to help further his education and secure a brighter future. While things have remained difficult in Jamaica, New York offered more options for growth. Naturally seeking a piece of that all-American pie, some dues had to be paid in order to persevere. Education was the main vehicle, so St. Francis College helped to broaden his scope. Still, with a lack of support, limited resources and the need for pertinent information. New York became an uphill experience for him. The co-author Michele Ellis; is a native New Yorker as well and a resident in Brooklyn. She attended Medgar Evers College and graduate of with a B.A. in psychology. On a daily bases, Ms. Ellis provides counselor to many women, at "The Administration for Children Services." Ms. Ellis has taken notice of the changes her district has undergone and made tiny modifications to fall in line with the new changes. A poet by hobby, Michelle unravels her passionate soul with words. Something she plans to release with the starting of her own magazine company. These first time authors has joined forces to breakdown the complexities of NYC. As well as, bringing readers resourceful information they may not have had before now. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
