When I first received this book I was dismayed and almost returned it immediately. The type was done in Courier. The binding consisted of punched holes loosely bound with the stitches that showed between a plain, stiff black hardcover. Just the basics. This is one ugly book. (I suspect it was hand published just for me because I had to wait many weeks to get it and paid a premium price. Lucky me.) A quick glance through reveled page after page of sample questions with some filler text in the back, most of it in outline form. The filler text did not seem to support the test questions. Then I hit on the secret. I took each 25 question section. All the questions I got wrong or wasn't sure about I wrote down in a notebook along with the correct answer. Then I read each of these statements into a tape recorder and studied them as if they were Trivial Pursuit questions, listening to the tape whenever I was driving. Meanwhile, I checked out a "real" business management textbook from the local library and looked up any special items that the sample questions pointed to but didn't give me enough information. Results: 7 hours study time and I got a nice high score on the test. Many, many of the sample test questions revealed themselves in some form in the real test. Will I by another Jack Rudman special? No. It's just too ugly. Did it help me pass the test in the most efficient manner? A definite yes.
