JUST ANOTHER TRAINING CD. NOTHING SPECTACULAR. INTERESTING TO WATCH BUT WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN IF I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED IT ALREADY? NO WAY!!!

I bought this because I didn't want to have to read a book first, but wanted to be able to quickly get up to speed on this camera. The video is okay. Presentation is quite dry. Sometimes the voice over is being read with no emotion as if by a robot, but the content is valuable. Probably a good buy if you want to get an overview of some of the more advanced features of the 7D and then drill down later in a book/ the manual on specific features that matter to you most.

The 7D has some complex featurs but this DVD makes the features easy and fun to use. Highly recommended for beginners and advanced shooters.

i do not call this a training.
a training is usualy done by a trainer.
this video series are done using an Actor.
funny thing is i even knew the guy, i have used him in one of my productions years ago.
anyway, it was so fast and quick going over all the functions of the amazing 7D
in no way i would call this a training.

the actor was not able to really team me anything more that what i would have read in the books.
i would have loved a professional camera man ready get his hands dirty with perfect examples.

sad thing is i dont think there is any other solution for this type of training anyways.

This DVD explains the advanced camera functions in a way that is wasy to follow.

I used this DVD to quickly come up to speed on the functions of the Canon 7D camera.

the material is an excellent source of information for a newly acquired Caon EOS / D user and in general for useing SLR Cameras

I do not own this video yet, but if the "Pinpoint Focus with the Canon 7D" sample on YouTube is any indication, it was too hastily put together. It shows footage of a Canon 5D Mark II front, which does not even have the new focus system being discussed. Maybe we're supposed to think all cameras look alike :-)
