4.0 out of 5 stars An Evangelical studies Roman Catholicism, October 13, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: An Introduction to Catholic Theology (Paperback)
This text was used as one of many resources in the preparation of a class to introduce adult evangelical Christians to Roman Catholicism. I was not disappointed in its clear and concise presentation of key elements of Roman doctrine. One of my goals in preparing and teaching this class was to foster an understanding of Roman Catholicism in the minds of evangelicals. It was helpful to have a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church handy to cross reference as I read Lennan's book.

Without reservation I recommend this book to those desiring a better understanding of the Roman faith.

I am a ministry student but don't have as solid an academic background in theology as would be "helpful". This book fills in a lot of gaps and is a very accessible reference.
