This book, used with the supplied CD, is the best possible way to learn the Cherokee Language I know of, besides being personally tutored by a Cherokee speaking person.The author has excellent pronunciation, and the new booklet supplied goes into much deeper detail than the older publication. I highly recommend this system to learn the basic Cherokee language and syllabary. It was recommended to me by a native Cherokee speaker, and she was absolutely right on.

This is a wonderful book and cd set. It starts off with the syllabry and then goes into more detailed information (numbers, months, ect.) Wonderful set for learning Cherokee!

This is a simplied entry level book into Tslagi culture. Does Not compare to James Mooney's HISTORY AND MYTHS opus for detail and deeper insights.
