...salute you for being involved in a worthy cause trying top raise society's awareness of our heritage, culture and language. -- Durbin Feeling, Cherokee Language Specialist, Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma - 1993

This course was extremely well-written with clear narration which made the course both pleasing and easy to comprehend. -- Indian News - Chattanooga, TN - 1992

From the Publisher

I met Sam Hider in the early 70s when he was teaching at the Tulsa Main library. The resulting tapes and workbook became the standard for Indian language programs when House Bill 1017 was passed in Oklahoma permitting the languages to be taught in the public schools.
