This best-selling text presents criminal justice as a dynamic, ever-changing field, emphasizing how the concepts and processes of criminal justice are constantly evolving. Authors Siegel and Senna emphasize a comprehensive and balanced approach to the three major areas of criminal justice (police, courts, and corrections) and to theory, research, and policy issues, with a focus on generating students' interest in the criminal justice field. This text is the ultimate tool for complete student preparation and provides all of the up-to-date coverage of structural and procedural changes in the criminal justice system that instructors require, ultimately helping students understand the critical issues in the field, and the impact they have on the system.
