Very Well Written....,

This book is very well put together. The material is presented in, at times, a jovial manner(hard to do with an instructional computer text). It's easy to understand and the authors have an incredible grasp on the subject matter.

I purchased this book because it is required text for my numerical analysis course. If you're interested in the minutiae this may be the book for you, however I found it to be ineffective at relating the broader aspects of programming...those which may up the bulk of my course's curriculum. Rather than purchase this text I would strongly recommend checking out the plethora of free programming websites.
