Book Description

Learn how to do beadwork and the art of bead embroidery! Bead embroidery is the art of stitching glass beads to felt using needle & thread. Learn basic stitches (as well as a few extreme techniques) in this step-by-step master class. This is not a bead-by-bead pattern - it is a photographic tutorial which explains the step-by-step process used to create the beaded cat pin above. 4.0 out of 5 stars Short and to the point. May 27, 2014

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Good basic info on beading a basic shape. She gets right to the point after a brief overview of materials. This is not a book that tries to tell you everything about bead embroidery; it shows you her technique for making dimensional pieces which she is known for. Many photos and they are clear. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the photos and text for the tail fringe don't explain it well enough and it's hard to see the detail of how she finishes the edging because the beads and the thread are black.
