Bought for a class, but unlike some required texts, it was worth buying. Good information in an interesting way. Would recommend to those interested in the field of firefighting.

I am going back to school and taking my intro to fire protection class. Prerequisite to the RCC Fire Academy. I found my text, Intro to Fire Protection, here on Amazon. Saved a ton of money and had my text book in my hands in only a couple of days. Will buy all my text books from Amazon from now on.

This book is good for those that are begining in the fire service field. But, its not for the technically mined

It says it's in stock and the book is sold by Amazon, so what's the hold up? I'm taking a summer class and I hope I receive the book before the semester ends in 4 weeks. Such poor service from Amazon, I'm so disappointed.

What can I say about this book? It's required material for firefighting courses, although it's more than likely a few editions behind, and as with all other text books it's over priced. As far as firefighting text books go, this one is pretty good.

My order arrived quickly and the book was just as described. No marks, very good condition. Thank you!!

This is a very good book for a person who is just starting off on their path to becoming a firefighter. It has a lot of information about many different aspects of the fire service and all that it involves.

As this is a textbook needed for school, I found it very frustrating that it took nearly two weeks to receive the book. Especially at the beginning of the school semesters, I would hope that you would try extra hard to get textbooks out ASAP as teachers assign reading and writing assignments from the first day of class. Unfortunately, we don't find out what book is needed till the first day of class either!!!

i just bout this book and it is so easy to read. it has a lot of info and it goes indepth on different careers, the chemistry of fire and other things.
