If your into a cursory view of disease and getting a general yet indepth idea of how they work. This is the book for you. much of the material is descriptive enough for you to know the disease while at the same time relates them to the pictures w/in the text as well

The content of this text, although it could be exteneded a little more, is very honest in its opinions and has great images. It always makes a good reference for assignments and backs up other texts nicely.

I don't like this book at all. Things are not explained well so I often have to go back to my physiology book, chemistry book for better explanation. I bought another pathophysiology book to understand the material better. Thank god I didn't buy the newest edition with pricy tag on!!
