Editorial Reviews

Review

The contributors are well-recognized experts in their fields. The book also has an extensive glossary, a descriptive table of neuropsychological tests, a two-page list of abbreviations, and an index... timely, well-balanced reviews and commentary... The overview in this section (Chapter 11) is thorough and well organized.
-Quarterly Review of Biology, vol. 76, no. 4, December 2001

This review is from: Introduction to Neurobehavioral Toxicology: Food and Environment (CRC Pharmacology & Toxicology: Basic & Clinical Aspects) (Hardcover)
This book should be a must read for all med students as well as clinicians. It provides an unusually precise and clear link between what often appears as "common" symptoms and previously un-discussed causes such as food related chemicals, pesticides, chemical exposures, organic solvents and metals. Having seen many antidotal references in the pop literature to these issues, it is good to finally see an authoritative scientific text on the subject.
