By A Customer
This review is from: Introduction to Occupational Therapy, 2e (Paperback)
i found this book very resourceful and informative in helping current students and future occupational therapy (ot) students, truly understand what is occupational therapy, its history, the purposes and concepts of occupational therapy, any misconceptions: such as the difference between occupational therapy and physical therapy, and the occupational therapy field in todays changing society. It will enable these current students as well as possible future occupational therapy students realize the creativity, flexibility, and enjoyment of occupational therapy.

I was required to get this book for my Orientation to OT class. So far I have found the book to be very helpful on my journey to becoming an Occupational Therapist. There is alot of good information in here. Some parts, such as the charts, may be a bit out dated but the information is still very helpful. I am really enjoying using this book to help me in my class.

Had to buy this book for a class I am taking. Book is easy to understand, and is a nice, smaller size compared to other textbooks. Would definitely reccommend to anyone. Great buy!

This text book is OK to get if you have absolutely no idea what OT is. The information within is very general (thus the 2 stars rating)- even the case studies. I should have gone to the library instead of dishing out the money for it. If you're considering studying OT, I recommend going to the library first.
