I've only read a little more than half this Text, but it is full of useful interesting information for anyone interested in this subject.

This review is from: Introduction to Psychotherapy: Common Clinical Wisdom (2nd Edition) (Hardcover)
Text book is full of sloppy editing and outdated source material. When text speak of "current research" it is usually discussing studies from the mid 1980s. Every chapter has extraneous and superfluous content, as if the authors were told to add pages, and they just wrote garbage to fill space. If you are stuck with this as a textbook.. buy used or better yet, rent it if you can..
