5.0 out of 5 stars Puppet Making with Jim Gamble, January 29, 2002

This review is from: Introduction to Puppet Making [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This 30 minute tape is a wonderful introduction to making all types of puppets. After watching this tape, I could go to the craft store and buy all the materials needed (listing of materials is shown) and start to make finger puppets, rod puppets, book puppets, handkerchief puppets, and many more including the most beloved puppets - Marionettes! Photography is great, clear closeups and pictures of how to make the puppets, demonstration of how puppets are put together, how to make marionettes move, such as hinging their joints and where to place strings. The controller for marioneets is displayed and explained (but not how to build one). This video is delightful for children to watch and comprehensive enough for adults to make puppets for themselves or children.
