About the Author
Daniel Wright has had a passion for pyrography ever since he bought his first pyrography machine when he was eleven and since then has developed a technique and style that is all his own. Pursuing his love of pyrography, he obtained a BA Hons in Visual Arts at university, then went on to work as an art workshop teacher in primary education.

The old idea's of woodburning has been replaced with a new creative art! This book teaches, demention, shading and texture. The lessons are easy to follow step by step and the examples pictures are breathtaking. Anyone looking for a book to learn this art should consider getting this one, I recommend it highly.

I can't quite agree with the other reviews, of coarse they may have been looking for something different than I was.This book has many pictures, and captions by the pictures. Most of the book tells you to do stuff free hand. Not much actual how to do the things shown, a few but not as many as I'd hoped. I did get some ideas I hadn't thought of so it wasn't a waste of money. i do feel that Susan Walters teaching books are much better for the money
