Good pedagogical introduction,
By Javier Reynaldo "Javi" (Milano, Italy) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (Paperback)
This text is a good beginning along with Liboffs text for undergraduates in physics. If you want supplement with feynman's lectures in physics #3 for a physically intuitive picture of qm. Bransdden and Joachain present the essential information often left out in griffiths etc. For example, a definitive push into bra-ket notation and reasonable mention of heienberg vs schroedinger pictures as well as some hints of group theory.

Excellent intro to the formal theory of Quantum Mechanics.,

This review is from: Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (Paperback)
This text covers the introduction to the formal theory of Quantum Mechanics very thoroughly at the level of the advanced undergraduate. The later sections covering atomic and molecular physics are adequate, though more complete treatments are available elsewhere

Excellent Overall Introduction to Quantum Mechanics,
By Christopher E. Naujok (Hudson, WI United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (Paperback)
The most readable introductory text to quantum mechanics that I have found. It covers all the core basic topics with great clarity and builds up the subject through clear examples and demonstrations. I would strongly recommend it for anyone's physics library.

Excellent. Clear and Very Well Written.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (Paperback)
This book is one of the clearest and well written introductions to the subject I've read. I recommend it hands down over Griffiths or Cohen-Tannoudji. My only gripe is that it needs more problems (and solutions too) at the end of each chapter.

Not bad...,
By Emre Domanic (Istanbul, TURKEY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Introduction to Quantum Mechanics (Paperback)
An avarage introduction to QM. Some aspects of the organization are imaginative, but on the whole the book does not convey the beauty of QM adequately. The book contains the necessary reference material for a decent undergraduate course, but anyone looking for depth and insight must look elsewhere.
