Great Tying Book,

This is an excellent tying book for beginning, or "new to" saltwater experienced tyer. It is well written, and easy to read. The author goes through a logical progression of flies, so that the beginning tyer builds techniques and skills. I would have liked a more expanded section on the tying materials, but overall it's a top-notch book!

Well, this book is just what it says, an introduction. For any tyer that is just starting to tie saltwater flies this book is excellent. I goes into great detail on tying methods, which actually the beginner does need. I've been tying for almost 30 years now and still found this book interesting. A great book to have in any tyers collection.
