3.0 out of 5 stars Good Content, Dense Reading, July 13, 2010

This review is from: Introduction to e-Supply Chain Management: Engaging Technology to Build Market-Winning Business Partnerships (Resource Management) (Hardcover)
I began using this as a resource for a professional exam I will take, and I'm glad I did. The information is good and the ideas of the book were prophetic and many companies still haven't entered the e-SCM that this book describes.

I would not recommend this book to anyone who does not have a VERY firm grasp on the entire Supply Chain Management lexicon. The reading is extremely dense and the text seems like a vague version of a college textbook. There are not nearly enough bullet points and illustrations for my tastes.

All in all, its an OK book, but the costs is not worth it. I prefer books that are more easy to understand, especially when the content is as important to my career as the future of SCM.
