A good summary, but not a whole lot else, May 16, 2007
This review is from: Introduction to the Theology of the Body: An Adult Faith Formation Program Based on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body (Paperback)
I truly believe that JPII's Theology of the Body is divinely inspired and is the antidote to the contemporary culture of death which is so evident in all aspects of our society. Christopher West is truly gifted in his ability to break open the dense writings of the late pope and will be instrumental in making this gift accessible to the common man.
However, this small document, whilst being a decent summary of the content is not much more than that. There is no real discussion of how to deliver such a program. It almost seems as though someone has read Theology of the Body Explained and taken notes, had them published and then sold them in this format.
Perhaps that's what it was intended to be. I don't feel i've wasted any money on it, but it isn't really any more helpful in developing a program for fatih formation and education than the more in depth study TOB Explained.
Mind you, it did only cost a couple of bucks, and the wealth of info contained in it is beyond all measure of value.

This is a wonderful book sharing with humanity about Pope John Paul II's thoughts on marriage and the sanctity of sexuality. It is awesome.
