An introduction to the basic concepts of The Urantia Book, including quotations and illustrations. The purpose is to aquaint the reader not only with basic concepts of The Utrantia Book, but with a sampling of its breadth, depth, and viewpoints. Starting with an overview of The Urantia Book, it introduces the nature of the Creator and creation, planetary history and dispensations, the Lucifer rebellion, Adam and Eve's default, spiritual ministries to humans, and life after death. The last chapter is devoted to who Jesus was, what He did on earth, and excerpts from His life and teachings. This introduction also includes topics such as religion, women/men/equality/marriage, government on a neighboring planet, war, and more. As stated in the introduction to the book, the author writes "God is love, the Creator, sustainer, and upholder of all creation. The Urantia Book is a great revelation, a presentation of universal facts and truths to us, about the Creator and about creation. It greatly expands our views and understandings of the Creator and the cosmos, and with this bigger picture, science, religion, and philosophy become integrated. We are not alone in the universe, quite the contrary. The Urantia Book was written by love-respecting, civilized inhabitants of the universe. It was written by a revelatory comittee, initially through a contact human, for the betterment of our planet."

My book is literally an introduction to The Urantia Book. The Urantia Book is a revelation of truth, about the Creator and creation, for all of humanity. The Urantia Book consists of 2097 pages of fine print, containing a tremendous amount of information and detail, and is not a quick study or easy reading. Along with my narrative, I used quotations from The Urantia Book, for which I obtained written permission from the Copyright holders (the Urantia Foundation). --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

This is an excellent reference tool for those who are first exploring the gigantic contents of this epochal book. Due to the extent of the contents of THE URANTIA BOOK, a guide like this is essential to prevent frustration and failure to locate and comprehend vital information. It also provides an invaluable concept coordination for new or seasoned readers. We owe the author a debt of gratitude for creating an accurate and helpful companion to the "Big Blue Book".

It captures the essence of the Urantia Book revelation and presents it in a "reader friendly" format which greatly increases the potential for spreading the word about the Urantia Book and it's message. I have initially ordered 10 copies for distribution to my family and friends and expect them to be so well received that I will soon be back for more. If you have read The Urantia Book and couldn't understand the first section, this is the book for you. It's brief, to the point, explains with maps and charts.
