This is an excellent reference tool for those who are first exploring the gigantic contents of this epochal book. Due to the extent of the contents of THE URANTIA BOOK, a guide like this is essential to prevent frustration and failure to locate and comprehend vital information. It also provides an invaluable concept coordination for new or seasoned readers. We owe the author a debt of gratitude for creating an accurate and helpful companion to the "Big Blue Book".

This book is beautifully written. It captures the essence of the Urantia Book revelation and presents it in a "reader friendly" format which greatly increases the potential for spreading the word about the Urantia Book and it's message. I have initially ordered 10 copies for distribution to my family and friends and expect them to be so well received that I will soon be back for more. Thank you, David Bradley, for this loving service to your fellow humans. I believe that in writing this book you were truly "following God's will".

If you have read The Urantia Book and couldn't understand the first section, this is the book for you. It's brief, to the point, explains with maps and charts.

This beautiful book is a must-have! If you wonder what the Urantia Revelation is all about, or if you are a new student/reader of The Urantia Book, this is for you. David Bradley has presented an overview that is well presented, simple, and illuminating. I personally find myself reading it over and over again, even though I have read a great deal of TUB already. The illustrations are elegant and thought-provoking, to say the least. Thank you, David, for this service of love.

I have been a reader of The Urantia Book for several years. Despite regular and methodical reading, plus also owning a copy of Concordance, I still have not managed to finish the book nor digest some of its more difficult premises. This Introduction by David Bradley helped me do that.

At first I was hesitant that it would alter some of the TUB's basic theories. When an author attempts to simplify and explain, he can offer enter in false information through his own personal "filter" of understanding. Bradley avoids this by quoting directly from the book and keeping his own explanations to the barest minimum. The most beneficial thing Bradley did was to select out key paragraphs from TUB and put them together, thereby helping the reader to summarize some of the most important concepts quickly.

The other benefit of Bradley's book are the illustrations. In order to understand the cosmos as explained in TUB, I've had to make my own sketches. Bradley has saved us all a lot of time by making two large and really excellent illustrations.

The U Book is often a difficult read for first timers, especially if they have had little preliminary discussion about its content. "Introduction" presents some of the fundamentals contained in the revelation in an easy to grasp manner. If still interested, the reader can progress to the U Book itself. This is far better than frustrating a reader in the first 20 pages of The Urantia Book.

For someone who has just discovered the Urantia Book and may be overwhelmed by all the information it contains, this is an excellent introduction to the book. The author is very knowlegeable about the Urantia Book, and he highlights sections that are of particular interest to him. He uses many quotes from the Urantia Book and arranges the material in sections so that a reader can go to a specific topic that interests them.
If you like the Urantia Book, this is a real asset.

For a couple of dollars more just buy the Urantia book. In this book you will mostly find quotes straight out of the Urantia book. I read the Urantia book first and then ordered this book. I guess I expected more insight. The Urantia book on the other hand is the most beautiful book I've ever read. Get the leather bound so it will not fall apart when you read it for the 3rd time.

I've given this introductory book to the Urantia Book to several friends. My copy is worn, underlined, read and reread. It's prompted me numerous times to either go online or to pick up the UB itself and read a passage further. It sits prominently on my night table book shelf.

This is a wonderful book for beginners to learn the principals
of the Urantia book. It is also a great teaching tool.
