Seems like a kids book....worked for me, I learned english from kids books afterall. It took me just a few hours to get through this book and I can suddenly read and write hiragana.It was passed down to me by a friend and I will pass it down to my friends

I used this book in my Japanese 101 class in college, and it does wonders for those who are completely new to Japanese, using practice to build up writing the hirigana script.
