4.0 out of 5 stars It's a math book, what more can you say?
I got the teachers edition, wasn't marked as that, it has all the answers but it's not really good at showing you how to do it.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit of disappointment
One good thing about this book is that it's a paperback, so it weighs less. Basically, the book is a collection of rules, explanations of how they work and work sheets. "Applied approach" is represented by few problems that try to imitate real life, such as problems with business scenarios, etc.

Overall, it's just another math book that does not stand out...

2.0 out of 5 stars Brand New Book but no webassign!, February 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Ok, So I paid a good amount of money for this book. I must let buyers beware. This brand new edition (which i bought brand new) does not come with webassign. My class mates bought this book at the college book store and got a brand new book cheaper than what I paid and their books came with Webassign. Webassign is a online program that most teachers are using to give homework and other assignments. Unfortunatley alone it costs around $75. I usually buy my books on amazon because they are cheaper and in better condition than my college book store. very disappointed that I have to dish out more money to buy webassign.
