Bittinger is always the best algebra textbook writer and this book is no exception. It's clear and well organized. There are enough practice exercises to really hone your skills, and if the answers given in the back of the book aren't enough, you can get the solutions manual which has complete step-by-step explanations of all the exercises.

This was a great book for my Algebra Class. Anyone who takes this class online, It is a must buy to pass the class.

My school sells this book to its students in a package with geometry supplements for a whopping $190!!!! Seriously? I bought this book and the geometry one for around $47!!! That's seriously around 75% off what my school was asking for. I'll never buy my books through school again!! Amazon all the way!

this is great ordered this book only four days ago. thought that i would have to go to my first and maybe even second class without it. you could have knocked me over when i got home last night to find it had already arrived to my house. in the exact condition that they said it was in. i would recomend this to anyone who needs books at a cheaper price. you go guys. i'll be back you can be assured of that! thanks

The idea of a loose leaf book is ingenious. No toting around a five pound book. Just take he pages you need for the day and leave the rest! As per the book format i found the concepts of the problems addressed from a practical point o view that was easy to understand. I hope you instructor uses this book. Best of Luck!
