I got a good deal through amazon and was happy how it worked the 1st time I used it. Now I question the quality of the drill since I tried to use it again after about a month, stored away in it's case, plugged it in and there are no sounds of life. I guess it wasn't built so well after all.
Update, 3 weeks after emailing the company and explaining my problem- NOTHING. If you are looking for customer or warranty service from this company, forget it.

Ok for a few jobs,

As I'm sure many other DIY'ers were, I was hooked by the comfort of the handle and design. The first complaint is the stupid hand extension which is "supposed" to grab the drill. It worked fine for a few jobs, then no matter how much torque you put on it it slips, usually midway through a job so you have to stop mid-stream and eff around with it to get it back in your spot. The second beef I have with it is just some other folks have said before, the thing smokes rather easy when under "mediocre" load. It's just another P>O<S Not-made-in-the-USA tool that the big box stores love to pimp on us. After about 2 years of very intermittant work (not steady construction work) the chuck has now frozen itself onto a real nice drill bit and the damn nochuck chuck is stripped and thus slips instead of releasing the bit. Now to try and find just the chuck - I should probably just junk it and face the facts. If you can't make a real chuckless chuck, then give me a real drill chuck and key like the old days thank you.

This drill is priced just as it should be, cheap. I used it to mix some plaster and it started to smoke immediately. I had to use my 12 volt which could handle the job. I don't know how it worked as a hammer dill though.

Drill stuck in reverse. Retailer deferred me to manufacturer; manufacturer impossible to contact. As is, a useless hunk of plastic, metal and wires. Buyer beware.

I paid about $55 for my drill. It is OK for a consumer grade tool. Not meant for professional or every day use. Equal or better than Skil or Black and Decker consumer grade drills. A good drill for household use around the garage and light construction. Easy to handle for someone does not have a lot of upper body strength due to good balance and adjustable grip angle. I have Hole Hawgs and larger hammer drills but this one is nice for small jobs.
