Good for Invoicing.....poor for QFX import,
By
This review is from: Quicken 2007 Home & Business (CD-ROM)
I moved from Money 2003 to Quicken 2007 in order to send professionally-looking invoices via email. With money, the best I could do was print and scan, or send in plain text. This works much better in Q7. The downside is, the limited QFX import. My bank, Ameriprise supports Q5, and provides an OFX file that Q7 recognises. However, when you try to import it, it tries to connect back to the bank and is unable to verify connection.
So, if you are planning to buy, be sure all your banks etc are on the approved list first.

Not too much different than 2006,

I have the same product for 2006. I haven't really noticed too much different than that version. The interface is prettier, but the functionality seems almost exactly the same. You may want to wait until the price come down a little for the upgrade.

Satisfied customer,

Finally updated an old DOS Quicken version to Quicken 2007 for Windows. With a little tech support help, I was able to convert many years of old data to the new format. Very easy to use - was able to train a newcomer to Quicken on how to handle accounts payable in a matter of minutes.

May Not Work With Your Financial Institution!,
By JavaSkull (Virginia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Quicken 2007 Home & Business (CD-ROM)
Remember what they say about the word "assume?" I bought Quicken, assuming that it would work with my banks and mutual fund companies. I learned too late that at least two of them offer data downloads only for Microsoft Money, not for Quicken. This incompatibility renders this product useless to me.
Lesson learned: check before buying!

Quicken Received Quickly-Thanks,

I was desperate for this particular version of Quicken software and was delighted to get it so quickly and at such a reasonable price. I was slightly uneasy that the box was not sealed, but the product seems to be fine. If this page calls my comments a "Kids Review" (it did in the preview), that is incorrect. I am an adult over 60.
