As a CPA, this tax software is my PERSONAL pick for the most accurate and easiest form of preperation out there. Its fool proof and walks you thru all the areas that migh effect your return. I rely on this for both my personal and my firms returns.

I've even purchased the competitor's product (because I had to do a 1041 form and they have it included), but after preparing that one form on it I shelved the program and bought TurboTax to complete my 1040 and Schedule C's. I've used this program along with TurboTax Business for 1120S forms and TurboTax State for 5 years now and have been extremely pleased each and every year. I can't imagine preparing taxes without these programs!

I am glad that I purchased this product. It was easy to install and easy to use. I saved our family over $500 in tax preparation fees by using this product. We have a quarter horse business and the program worked beautifully for it. I also filed on line which was a breeze. I'll purchase it again in the following years.

This was so easy to use. It was fast and pain free. The rebate was nice too!

I rate a one because you can not use this product unless you are an administrator. I do not want to give admin rights to my users. How can I use this product without giving everyone admin rithgs.

So far, we don't need an accountant. TurboTax asks every question you can imagine, and then some. If you have the numbers, TurboTax does the rest. If your financial life is not very involved, this is right for you. Plus, e-filing is great when you are receiving a refund.

I have used Intuit products for almost 20 years and never really had any problems, until now. This product would not load properly, would not run after loading under the system administrator, and tech support was a waste of time. If you are running XP, I would not count on this program this close to the tax deadline.

This software works so well it (almost) makes preparing tax returns enjoyable. I've used it for a few years now, and couldn't imagine going back to filling in the forms with a pencil and calculator. It is very reassuring to know that you're not making any math errors or mistakes on multi form returns when you're transferring balances from one form to another or comparing percentages.

Now they're working on electronic downloads of information from many financial institutions and mutual fund companies. That hasn't worked yet for me, but it's no problem entering the figures into the prompts when the documents come in the mail.

After you use this software the first year, it will bring in your personal data, business information, bank accounts, and other fixed data from the previous year's return; another big time saver. It's January 11th now and I already have a significant portion of my return completed - amazing!

My only complaint is a small one with the company, in that they keep telemarketing me to buy annual upgrades direct from them. The price for this is about the same as buying the full product with the rebate, so I see this as a cheap way to steal or take over the customers and sell direct, and I pretty much tell them that when they call and continue to buy every year through Amazon.

I have used this product for two years and it is GREAT! I am no accountant, but using the simple "interview" style questioning, I was able to ensure I got all the deductions I had coming! It helps me make sure I get every advantage possible from my home office, my business vehicle, espenses, etc., and makes it easy! You merely walk through the process, step by step, and TurboTax keeps checking and double checking your answers as you go to keep errors from occurring. Not sure what any of the questions mean? Their excellent help feature gives you all the infomration you need in plaing English--not "legalese" or IRS jarghon.

Want to save tax dollars without paying big bucks to an accountant? BUY THIS!!

I loaded Turbo Tax Delux on to my Windows 2000 operating system, using Administrator rights, which is the normal way of installing all software. However, unlike all other software, Turbo Tax will not allow a user without Administrator rights run the program, which is unlike any other program I use. When I contacted Intuit tech support the best explanation they could give is it provides better data security when the user has Administrator rights. I don't believe it, furthermore, running the computer with Administrator rights makes it more vulnerable to hacking. Intuit is trying to do something with the computer other programs are not and I don't know what it is. Users beware.
