Einstein, a psychic who works as an intuitive counselor, has written this as a guide for people who would like to enhance their intuitive abilities. Each chapter includes many exercises; the final chapter lists additional tricks and techniques for expanding psychic talents. Unfortunately, the text is not convincing, and the exercises are difficult to read, remember, and perform. They seem as if they were designed for use in a class or seminar, where someone reads the instructions and the students close their eyes and follow directions. Laura Day's Practical Intuition (LJ 10/15/96) would be a better recommendation for those librarians looking to expand their collection of how-to-be-a-psychic books.?Elizabeth Caulfield Felt, Washington State Univ., Pullman

There aren't too many executives out there who would want to give up valuable time reading a book about getting in touch with the universal energy flow. But if you're willing to navigate the chakra points of Intuition, you just might pick up some hands-on exercises that can help you relax, manage stress and think creatively. These are hard skills that are fast becoming critical requirements in the new, dynamic economy, and in order to develop them, you might have to look in some new places for help. That's not to say that many professionals won't be left rolling their eyes at some of the more alternative of the many alternative notions advanced in this book.
