5.0 out of 5 stars Spanish Shower Curtain - Great Investment
I bought two. I have one in my bathroom and I use the other in my Spanish classroom. Good material and long lasting! A nice conversation piece. I highly recommend this to those trying to learn Spanish. Delivery was prompt. Thanks!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not waterproof, unable to read words in shower!
I thought this would be a cute product for my kids to read the words while they shower. Problem is, this item is not waterproof, so it has to be used with a liner, so you can't see the words in the shower, defeating the purpose of getting the curtain in the first place. Disappointing, will not buy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's fun!, September 12, 2011

I purchased this as a gift for my roommate who is trying to learn Spanish. It's great, a thin, light fabric that really brightens up our bathroom.

What no one tells you however, is that the curtain print (the Spanish vocab) is only on one side. So your options are, have it facing out to the bathroom where one can read it say, washing their hands or...well, on the toilet. -OR- turn it the other way so you can only read it in whilst in the shower.

I chose to put it up facing out towards the bathroom for esthetic reasons otherwise it would look a little strange having all the words backwards.

That was the curtain's only downfall. If it was double-sided it would have been more practical. I find myself in the shower (prime learning time!) trying to decipher the words backwards...

But nonetheless everyone who has encountered the shower curtain loves it and I catch my roommate throwing in a few Spanish words learned in her everyday conversation. We're learning, it works & it's fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars This shower curtain is the best thing that ever happened to me!, August 11, 2010

Ok so maybe I wouldn't go that far, but this is a great shower curtain. It's nice to look at something everyday that normally would be blah, and instead learn a new word in Español. Also, guests always complement you for making a trip to the powder room a better than average learning experience! The design is great, and the black and white is very modern. No complaints except for the fact that it might be a little bit pricey for anyone that just wants your run-of-the-mill, practical, no frills shower curtain. The quality is excellent, I have a liner Ex-Cell Home Fashions Eco Soft Vinyl Shower Curtain Liner, Clear on the inside but it's not necessary due to the water resistant material of this lovely curtain. All in all, I would say this Spanish Vocabulary Shower Curtain is a MUST HAVE!

This is a fun way to learn a foreign language. I was surprised of how many words it shows, and how good the translations are.
