5.0 out of 5 stars Even experienced Tarot readers like this book.
This book was written in order to teach the reader to learn to trust his or her intuition using the Tarot as a "leap of faith" when it comes to trusting what comes to consciousness. 3.0 out of 5 stars Offer too less information
As the title indicates, it is a book to teach readers how to read tarot with intuition. Thus, Mr. Prosapio offers FEW card meanings (this is a 92-page book and uses Morgan-Greer Tarot as illusitration) In this book, he teaches some tips and methods to do an intuitive reading. Somehow they just do not work for me. Probably it is because I need broader and deeper...

This book was written in order to teach the reader to learn to trust his or her intuition using the Tarot as a "leap of faith" when it comes to trusting what comes to consciousness. It presents the reader with a tight rope walk when it comes to trusting what the cards can come up with. How it is that the cards always come up "right" is the mystery, it is the interpreation of what comes up which leads the reader to discover the Magician who lives inside all of us. This is a small but important book for anyone who wants to learn about the power we all have to really "know". Check it out, good things come in small packages.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intuitive Tarot, January 24, 2004

This book is especially useful for those who want to use the tarot as a means of personal introspection and growth. As other reviewers suggest, a basic knowledge of the tarot is helpful, but Prosapio's ideas of analyzing the visual images of the deck as to how they personally relate to you is extremely beneficial when one is trying to make major life decisions. Personally, I have used this book as a means to find out more about myself--not as a way to do readings for others. Though I believe it would help even experienced tarot readers find deeper meaning in the cards.

4.0 out of 5 stars Developing your Intuition, December 26, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Intuitive Tarot (Paperback)
This book is wonderful as a workbook, especially for an intuitive type person. I have gone through it twice so far, each time enriching and personalizing my use of the Tarot. Richard's book and style have given me the confidence to bring intuition into readings for myself and friends. Although this may not be the first or only Tarot book you'll want, it can help you to integrate knowledge from other Tarot sources.

Thus, Mr. Prosapio offers FEW card meanings (this is a 92-page book and uses Morgan-Greer Tarot as illusitration) In this book, he teaches some tips and methods to do an intuitive reading. Somehow they just do not work for me. Probably it is because I need broader and deeper knowledge of tarot as foundation before doing an intuitive reading. Personally I believe that a beginner needs a textbook that can lead readers (especially who is not very intuitive) step by step; and an experienced student is probably interested in symbolism or other sort of occult knowledge releated to tarot. Neither this book can meet. For me, this book is worth to read but not to buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars It's a BLANK BOOK, August 11, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Intuitive Tarot (Paperback)
This is a "workbook", therefore most of the pages only contain lines where you write interpretations of different tarot cards. Instead of paying $11 + shipping for this, purchase a $1 notebook from Walmart and just write your own definitions for the cards. You'll save $10!
