Season 2 of the amazing series,
This review is from: Inuyasha - Season 2 (DVD)
Directly from VIZ: "Episodes 28 - 54 on 5 DVD discs. SPECIAL FEATURES: Bilingual Japanese & English, with optional English subtitles, Scene access menu and Line-art gallery."
This means that it is Engl. The difference between this one and the Delux Edition is (directly from VIZ): "This special deluxe edition features a set of imported Hanko signature blocks, each featuring either the name of Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Kagome or the original Japanese Inuyasha logo."

If you're a true Inuyasha fan and a smart buyer then you know this is the Box Set to get. You can't wait any longer this is the entire second season for just 75$, think about how much money you save by buying this and not all those individual DVD's that just clean out your pockets. If you're looking at this review and have never seen the series then your looking for the first Set not this one,.
So anyone buying this already knows the 5 amazing characters and the amazing story and plot and how much this Box Set is truly worth. This isn't overrated this is one of the greatest anime series of all time and I said one of the greatest not the greatest. If you really want to know how great of a deal this is then calculate what it would cost if you purchased every DVD volume of the second season.

I think if you were going to buy one large collection to introduce someone to anime, this may well be the one to choose. Now that it is available in a collected (and reasonably priced) form, the second season is a great buy.
There is hardly a mediocre episode in the lot, let alone a bad one. Highpoint follows highpoint, from the showdown at Naraku's castle, combat with the Wind Sorceress Kargura, Wolf-Demon Koga, the mind-reading Goshinki, the bizarre Juromaru and Kageromaru, and the mighty Ryukotsusei. The feud with Sesshomaru continues, and we see that Inu-Yasha's full demon brother is possibly not completely evil. Sango endures a lot of pain both emotional and physical but fights on, and Kagome begins to adapt to the dangers of the world she has discovered. She's much less helpless than in season one. And Kikyo is even more enigmatic than in the first season, thoroughly complex, with a perspective that is neither human or demon. The 2nd season is in my opinion the best of one of the best anime programs ever made.

Not the best anime out there, but worth a look.,

I'll have to admit, Inuyasha isn't the deepest or creative anime you can find on the shelves. It's plot is somewhat predictable and straightforward. The animation, at times, can get a little cruddy. And for the love of god, it's 167 episodes long! Way too many fillers, if you ask me.
So why is Inuyasha worth your time? The truth is that this show is heavily based on the characters and character development, which is something I hold high in my book. They are pretty memorable, very fun to watch, and (dare I say it) lovable. For the most part, it's a feel good show that does its job as entertainment. The music is something to love, and during the times where the animation is done right, the show is absolutely gorgeous. The only major qualm I have about it is that it is way too long. It begins to lose it's steam around the end of the third season. But hey, this is the second season I'm reviewing; it's still all good stuff here! Oh, and let me just add that people who write nasty reviews to lash out at shows that stereotypical people watch are usually stereotypical people themselves.

finally the episode list uncovered,
This review is from: Inuyasha - Season 2 (DVD)
I totally am hooked on the series, so I had to take a chance tp find out what the second season's episode list was because for some reason there are two box sets that claim to be season two.
Now the box set that has Kagome, Inuyasha, and Naraku on the cover is the real box set, because it starts at episode 28: Miroku Falls Into a Dangerous Trap. The first season box set of course ends on episode 27. I hope this review has stopped some of the confusion ^.^ Go Inuyasha!!

Inuyasha was the first anime series to spark my interest in the genre and I am happy to say it is still my favorite, The animation, music and voice acting are absolutely superb. (watch it in Japanese with english subtitles for the best experience).
This series builds on the relationships created in the first series and really feels like it is building up to a very complex resolution. Some of the episodes can be viewed as stand alone and others continue the main thread of destroying the demon Naraku. The humour is great and the relationship between Inuyasha and the rest of his travelling companions continues to develop well with some of the shows being downright tearjerkers. I enjoyed every moment of this DVD presentation. I can't recommend this series more highly.

Ah, Inuyasha's prime season!!,
This review is from: Inuyasha - Season 2 (DVD)
Inuyasha was my first anime (Otaku for THREE years here people!) and this was the season that got me into this wonderful series.
In my personal opinion, this is the VERY best season. Alot of the classic moments are right in here. This is where things in the series really heat up as well. For an example, we just learn that Naraku has enough poew to create INCARNATIONS from parts of his own body!! (o.O) And for all you romantics out there, the realtionship between Inuyasha and Kagome deepens. (See episode 48. =]) Comedey is great in this season too!! ( AHAA! Miroku ,you pervert! XDD) The point is to pick up this boxed set!! ITs freakin awesome and its a must have for every Inuyasha fanatic!!! ^^

I LOVE THIS ANIME ! TRUELY THE BEST!,
This review is from: Inuyasha - Season 2 (DVD)
What can i say. I've grown to love this anime. Sure the story goes on forever and everyone is waiting for Naraku to just keel over already, you can say many of the same things about Inuyasha that you can about any long running manga converted to anime, and you might have legitimate claims about filler. Still, Inuyasha has a certain charm to it, episodes that some people call filler i think are quite fun and necessary. Frankly i enjoy episodes that explore different characters and "youkai" (the term for demons both good and bad in Inuyasha) more than episodes that deal with the main plot thread. It's the subplots that are the most interesting. I like the whole Kikyou/Inuyasha/Kagome love triangle. I like the tragic story of Sango and Kohaku. I like the relationship between Sesshomaru and Rin and how Sesshomaru gradually "mellows out" because of this. Also i just love the characters designs, the attire, and the artwork of medieval Japan that Rumiko Takahashi brings out so well. People have forgotten that "art" is just as important or perhaps part of "animation". With so much CG stuff and dull colored Bebop clone animes out there nowadays its refreshing to see vibrant colors, lively characters, and actual imagination.
The transition from manga to anime is acceptable even though they add in some new content here and there, I don't really feel like its dragging along, either the overall plot or the action within individual episodes.
