This has proven to be a very useful table to keep next to the bed. I use my laptop on it for hours a night, and keep my alarm clock and bedside mister on it as well. My bed is relatively high and the table easily adjusts to a comfortable height; I work on my computer out on the end of the table (such that I feel I may be putting excessive weight on an unsupported surface) so I keep it fairly low to the bed just so I can add a little extra support with my knee. Not that the table doesn't feel sturdy and supportive and well up to the task. I work in a hospital and clearly this table is not as big and strong as a true hospital table, but it certainly seems stout enough to hold up well to regular home use as a desk or laptop surface, or whatever your needs are. Everyone should have one!

This overbed table would have an excellent buy, had the top support bracket not been welded to the support post incorrectly, causing the table top to be out of level. Called Invacare about the problem, but they were not interested in correcting it. Other than the out of level top, the table is very stable and easy to adjust.

This table was purchased for me to use after hip replacement surgery. It is really well built and easy to wheel around. It is one touch height adjustment too. I used it for my computer while I was recovering in bed then used it after I was out of bed because it was so easy to wheel around. After looking at several before making my decision I think this is the best. My husband thinks that the top has warped somewhat but if it did it was because of the weight of my big computer.

After reading several reviews about unstable tables we choose this one and it works great. We did have a problem, it came out of the box with a broken wheel. The manufacturer would not deal with a non-dealer. So I called Amazon and they were wonderful! A new table was immediately shipped as well as a packing slip for the broken wheeled table so we didn't pay postage to send it back. We're using it over a recliner for our notebook computer. It moves well and can handle lots of weight. It isn't industrial strength like an actual hospital model but it is sturdy enough for home use.

The person who cares for my parents requested that I get them some kind of tray table that rolled and was stable. These Invacare Overbed Tables did the trick. They are slim and can be rolled to the sides of my parents' recliner and lift chair. The don't tip over. The height adjust works well. They roll up much closer to my parents when they eat. The surface is easily cleaned. The tables are one of the things that has made caring for my parents in their home a bit easier.

This is a good value for the money.

We are not using it as an over bed table at this time, but rather as a work suface for crafts.

The quality of the workmanship is great.

The height adjustability was a key factor in our decision to purchase this table.

This table works great. I did have to remove the wheels in order for the foot to slide under my couch. I also would prefer the model that allows the table top to tilt toward the user (Invacare Bedside Tilt Top Table) but Amazon does not carry this model directly and as a Prime member I try to avoid third-party shipping costs.

Be careful if you slide this table in from the side of your couch. The underside of the bracket is on the sharp side and it can cut into the material of the arm of your couch if it rests on the arm.

Excellent table. Wish the control for the tilt top was in a diffeent place than directly above the height control. Easy to tilt the table by mistake.

It is easy to set up and easy to adjust. The only thing is not low enough when I sit in my sofa (well, I am short)

It was easy to put together and works just like the ones used in hospitals except this is just a basic model.
