I had a bunionectomy on my right foot in January 2010, and three and a half months later, my foot was still rather swollen. I was finished with crutches, and the medical boot, but I was limping. So I decided to try using a cane. This one's great. Very inexpensive, well-made, and easy to use. I am a former photographer, and the cane is adjustable in the same way a tripod leg is. It's extremely easy to change the height on this. The head is large enough to hold easily, and should fit a variety of hand sizes. I will need a bunionectomy on my other foot next fall. (Genetically, I got crapped on in the foot department!) So I will definitely use this again. If you need a good-quality, inexpensive, easy-to-use cane, I recommend this one.

My husband recently had hip surgery and needed a cane. He saw this cane in the re-hab center he was in and wanted this specific one. I found this at Amezon. Received in perfect condition within 2-3 days, and it's exactly what my husband wanted. Thank you for making this such a quick and easy purchase during a difficult time.

I have large hands and this fits perfect. I bought 4 different type before this one. It works best.

The Perfect Cane (for me, anyway),

I found this cane to be the best I've come across in this style, in terms of appearance, comfort and functionality. I'll probably use this for life, until either I have no more use for a cane, or I find something even more amazing.I find the rubber tip to be better than most aftermarket ones I tried (I don't recommend any of the gimmicky ones, although the Tru-motion Go-Tip, Black for example might have one discernable advantage in the traction department--otherwise clunky, though--not worth the price if you ask me). The handle of this cane in particular was a marked improvement over my last cane; the width of the grip works well for me as it fits my hand size more comfortable--your mileage may vary if you have small hands (I would consider mine medium, for a man, with fingers on the longer side). I do like the gradual curvature of the handle, in any case, and while this cane isn't as perchable, or hangable as a standard cane via the handle's crook, I don't find that to be a problem. The handle is definitely heavier than your standard cane, but for me this actually helps with balancing the cane itself, for example when holding it on my arm or the like (OK, or when spinning it around...). I bought a second of these recently, as I'd been frequently adjusting the size of the first in order to make it less of an obstruction in my car--eventually, the plastic clamp became loose. OTherwise I'd have simply kept and repainted the original cane. |
