i am learning portuguese now. i really like rock and rap and reggae in general, but to find something like this with all three categories, in portuguese! it's a dream come true. they mix beautiful sounding lyrics ( i can't understand it yet!) with a gorgeous mix of layered drums, guitars, flutes, dj-ing, as well as and other instruments.. and made in just the perfect way so it's balanced, always good to listen to and powerful. i love it.

Planet Hemp has been collecting an ambiguous reputation in Brazil, mainly for its continuous dedication to the campaign for the legalization of marijuana and for the effort to call the society's attention to the deep contrasts that became part of Brazilian culture. In this CD, the band political bias is still there, shouting at every one's face not to live under other's decisions, not to give up the fight. What most attracts the band fans, in my opinion, is that Planet Hemp has acquired a great expertise mixing hip-hop and rap with Brazilian samba and Brazilian regional sounds, creating an atmosphere of magic trip into Brazilian urban soul, specially for those who wish to understand something of the carioca (Rio de Janeiro) undergound. Keep you ears "open" to the lyrics (if you are able to understand Portuguese or a bit of Spanish, albeit the slangs) and feel the vibration. This is positively a great acquisition.

This CD completed the Trilogy of Planet Hemp They come out more hard core than ever in this CD with the help of Gustavo Black Alien and Sen Dog from Cypress Hill and of course the originals of Planet Hemp Marcelo D2 and B. Negão Also recommended Marcelo D2 self titled album Eu tiro é onda with pure hip hop com samba
