Outstanding documentary, honestly and fairly presented, even when segments are not flattering to the Chandlers. As a former journalist I enjoyed it immensely, and as an educational piece about newspapers I think it will be well received by viewers.

There are relatively very few video documentaries about the history of Los Angeles, and this one brilliantly fills an important gap. The history of the prominent Los Angeles family, the Chandlers, and the story of Los Angeles are intertwined for all of the 20th century and even some of the 19th century. One without the other would not have ascended to greatness. See this beautifully and intricately edited documentary if you truly want to savor some of Los Angeles' most fascinating people and events. Whether you live or come from Los Angeles or not, this is a great story - see it!
